Media & Entertainment Skills Council (MESC) is a new era of progression to the whole education system of India with full emphasis on skill-based education rather than just theory. It is one of the finest initiatives by the Government of India. I am proud to be associated with MESC with a serious responsibility to develop a new skilled man/woman in every field. Especially in our sector of Media & Entertainment to explore and think beyond the obvious in every art and craft we are in.

We have a strong team to succeed in skilling India for a brighter tomorrow, and I'm thankful to everyone who has given me the huge duty of leading it in the correct manner for the upcoming youth generation.

Being a Chairman of Media & Entertainment Skills Council I take immense pleasure and send my blessings to the candidates representing India on the WorldSkills Stage in Kazan in the month of August 2019. These brilliant candidates are the winner of India skills competitions. I appreciate the initiative by MESC to start with Authorised World Skills India Training Centers (AWSITC) offering skills oriented training programs which MESC shall be representing the Country during World Skills Competition or any other competition on national or international stage. AIWSTCs of MESC will prepare the candidates on global standards and in turn we will get more golds for the country.

Another remarkable initiative by MESC is Creative warriors Skills@pathshala and I congratulate the entire team for the same. MESC has started training the candidates from school level and preparing them for WorldSkill Competitions. This is like grooming the bud to be a beautiful flower that will spread its fragrance around the world and make our country proud.
